Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Boston University School of Management. She has authored 2 books on mentoring as well as multiple chapters and articles. Her areas of research and writing include executive coaching and leadership development, relational learning and its role in leadership development, leadership at successive lifestages, and emotional competence and leadership. She is a member of National Training Laboratories, Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, and currently serves on the board for CCL. Doug (Tim) Hall is the Directorof the Executive Development Roundtable and a Professor of Organizational Behavior in the School of Management at Boston University and a core faculty member of the Human Resources Policy Institute. He is the author of 9 books and multiple chapters and articles. He has served as Acting Dean and Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Faculty Director for the Masters Programs at the School of Management. He has also held faculty positions at Yale, York, MichiganState and Northwestern Universities, as well as visiting positions at Columbia, Minnesota, and the US Military Academy at West Point. He is a Fellow of theAmerican Psychological Association and of the Academy of Management, and a member of the Board of Governors of the Center for Creative Leadership. He has served as a consultant to organizations such as Sears, AT&T, General Electric, Honeywell, Ford Motor Company, Eli Lilly, the World Bank, and The Boeing Corporation. Most recently, he has served on the Chief of Staff of the Army's panelto help the U. S. Army develop a new model of leadership and a new process ofleadership development for the Army of 2010.
