Our land, our oil!: natural resources, local nationalism, and violent secession

Stefano Casertano explores the connections between the presence of energy natural resources in a particular region and the development of "local nationalism"; in particular, a specific focus is dedicated to those cases when such nationalism leads to secession attempts.
