
One of the focal points of Pharmacotherapy of Depression, Second Edition willbe the treatment of depression in special populations. The treatment of depression in these special populations will include geriatric depression, bipolar depression, psychotic depression, substance abuse and depression, HIV/AIDS-related depression, depression associated with pregnancy, posttraumatic stress disorder, and depression in children. Treatment of depression in the medically ill, a topic not covered in the First Edition, will also be covered in a new chapter.
