Histological analysis of endocrine disruptive effects in small laboratory fish

Many authorities for risk assessment and registration of chemical, agricultural chemical and pharmaceutical compounds in North America, Europe and Japan use small fish like zebrafish, medaka, and fathead minnows. This book will help to standardize the histopathological interpretation of results from aquatic bioassays and field observations by describing basic biological functions and contrasting normal histology with histopathological conditions in a variety of fish species.
