A lot of the currently available mathematical physics books are of handbook style, thus voluminous (1,000+). The proposed book, aimed at beginning (first-year) graduate students is much more concise, and discusses selected topics in full without omitting any steps. Wiley has quite a considerable list of mathematical physics titles on offer, all of them selling in satisfying numbers. This book is an ideal addition to that cluster.
