
Regulating technological innovation: a mutlidisciplinary approach
Examining the regulatory issues of fostering technological innovation and itsapplications this book combines legal, economic and administrative science perspectives. It answers important questions such as what type of regulatory framework would best fit the needs of technology and innovation developments? MICHIEL A. HELDEWEG Professor of Public Governance Law at the Department of Legal & Economic Governance Studies, University of Twente, the Netherlands. In addition to this he is also an Honorary Judge for the District Court of Almelo, the Netherlands, Administrative Law Bench. His research interests focus on regulation and innovation with special attention paid to hybrid regulation, legal design methodology and the field of Environmental and Energy Law. . EVISA KICA is currently studying for her PhD at the School of Management and Governance, the Department of Legal and Economic Governance Studies at the Twente University, the Netherlands. She is also involved in the project 'study on the quality of the patent system in Europe' commissioned to Poiltecnico di Torino.
