The imaging systems using thermography have been developed to a point that they can be mass-produced and thus sold at a price affordable for a large group of customers in science and industry as well as medicine. The manufacturer company partly offer short summaries of the very basic principles of their systems and their individual advantages within their product catalogues. However this by no means can replace a comprehensive, example-oriented and impartially written practical approach to thermographic imaging systems, written by expert authors from a renowned applied science institution.
